Agape Detox Center is a licensed drug and alcohol rehab facility in Port St. Lucie, Florida, and part of the Agape Behavioral Healthcare system.
We provide medically supervised detox, inpatient rehab, and dual diagnosis treatment for adults struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Fully accredited and in-network with most major health insurance providers, Agape serves as one of the primary recovery centers for the Treasure Coast and broader South Florida community.
Our Mission
Agape Detox Center’s mission is to empower people to defeat addiction, transform their lives, and see lasting recovery. We firmly believe that everyone deserves a second chance and that the key to true healing is being in an environment of compassion, respect, and belonging. Our goal is to provide not merely a method to treat addiction, but also to help each client discover how they can once again live a productive life without drugs or alcohol. At Agape Detox Center, we recognize that recovery is as individual as the person seeking it. Because of this, everything we do — from initial assessment to discharge planning — is tailored toward the specific medical, psychological, and emotional requirements of each client. Rather than treating only the symptoms of addiction, we work hard to identify and treat any underlying factors that contributed to it so that healing is both genuine and enduring.
Our Approach
Agape Detox Center uses a comprehensive, evidence-based model of care when addressing the addiction treatment needs of its patients. All treatment begins with a medically monitored detox, where the patient is provided with continuous 24-hour medical monitoring and support while withdrawing from substances. Once this is complete, patients transition to inpatient care, where they continue to receive 24/7 support and embark on an individualized treatment plan designed to meet their unique needs and experiences. In order to create a well-rounded experience for our patients, we have developed a continuum of treatment services using a variety of evidence-based models of treatment, including but not limited to:
- Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
- Individual and group therapy
- Family support
- Dual diagnosis treatment for co-occurring mental health issues
- Holistic treatments, including yoga and mindfulness.
