Mary Paprota, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-CP, serves as Director of Human Resources at Agape Behavioral Healthcare, bringing extensive leadership experience and a deeply personal connection to the behavioral health and recovery community.
With more than 13 years in personal recovery, Mary’s passion for behavioral healthcare extends far beyond her professional role. After beginning her own recovery journey at the age of 19, she developed a strong commitment to helping create environments where individuals can rebuild their lives and where the professionals who support them can thrive.
As Director of Human Resources, Mary leads strategic HR initiatives, supports organizational culture, and works closely with leadership and team members across Agape. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University and holds both the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credentials.
Mary’s combination of personal recovery experience and human resources leadership gives her a unique perspective on the importance of compassionate, mission-driven behavioral healthcare. She is passionate about building strong teams, supporting the professionals who care for Agape’s clients, and fostering a workplace culture centered on integrity, growth, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
